Texas State Thespian Festival Update! Yesterday we ate a group dinner
at the Executive Surf Club where Rush Evans and Zoƫ Lustri thrilled
the crowd at open mic night! Today we started early with a 6:00am
wakeup in order to speedily rebuild out set in a record time of under
4 hours! We performed two performances of Beehive, both of which were
a roaring success! Standing ovations and dancing in the aisles ensued
during these rockin' performances! We also had great results in the
individual events. Natalie Houchins and Kahla Brown competed in duet
acting and were one of eight (out of over 100) teams to advance to the
final round and a chance to perform in front of the entire festival!
Sierra and Lauren Tothero were also one of four (out of about 40) duet
pantomime teams to advance to the final round! They will will perform
for the judges again tomorrow morning for a chance to perform in the
final showcase. Stay tuned for more updates!
